About Grand Cru Select
Grand Cru Select was created to provide something often missing from the fine-wine market: advice that begins with the buyer rather than the bottle being offered.
Collectors and wine buyers face an extraordinary amount of information — critic scores, allocations, merchant recommendations, auction catalogs and increasingly complex secondary-market pricing. More choice does not necessarily make the decision easier.
Grand Cru Select helps clients step back from that noise and assess each opportunity in context: the quality of the wine, its provenance and maturity, its place within a cellar or wine program, and whether buying it genuinely makes sense.
The objective is simple: not to encourage clients to buy more wine, but to help them make better wine decisions.
About Luke
Grand Cru Select is led by Luke Mircea-Willats, a Switzerland-based fine-wine collector and adviser.
His perspective has been shaped by actively building and managing a private collection, sourcing wines through international merchants and auctions, buying en primeur, visiting producers and wine regions, and continually developing his formal wine education.
That experience has reinforced a deliberately selective approach to buying wine: quality over quantity, provenance over excitement, and long-term relevance over short-term hype.
Luke works directly with every Grand Cru Select client, providing independent and discreet advice tailored to the individual collection, opportunity, or wine program.
